Whilst Lake Karrinyup is perhaps the best-known course in the Perth, we think Mt. Lawley can be equally good because the land is sandy, undulating and well vegetated. Why can’t it be the equal of the best courses of the sand belt? It has every advantage needed to make top quality golf.
Whilst the course is good it’s nowhere near its potential and our Masterplan aims to explain how it can be significantly improved. Greens and bunkers will be set up to create more thought provoking play and off the fairways we hope to expose a little more of the natural sandy ground which was prevalent when the course was first designed and utterly in character with the suburban land in Perth so perfect for great golf.
A 19th hole and practice facility has been constructed in July 2017 and will be open for play later in the year.
